Tax compliance
“Tax compliance” refers to the laws and regulations associated with sales, or value-added taxation that buyers and suppliers must adhere to. At a high level, these include all laws and regulations that are put in place to ensure that taxes are paid for and reported correctly. For e-invoicing, these laws dictate specific information to be included in all sent documents. The specific requirements can vary greatly from country to country, but common required information, for example, includes tax registration numbers and tax rates.
When it comes to tax compliance, confirming that all requirements are met is a process that is done by the buyer (and the buyer’s tax advisors) in collaboration with DespaQ’s professional services team. This is achieved through a number of business controls, managed by the buyer, using the DespaQ’s document validations.
